A beautiful lake named Goguac in the heart of Battle Creek, MI

Nathan, Daniel, and I attended the 2005 American Formula One race.
If you could call it that. Only six cars representing three teams ran as the others were banned from the track as the tires they used were dangerous on the Indy track. Politics.

Michael Schumacher was there. Five time world champion. $20M+ per year for 16 races.

Daniel got to see the Pope!.

There were high performance cars outside the track too!

My neice Ruth Pike graduated from High School.
She is the oldest daughter of Jill and Greg Pike.
Greg is Deb’s brother.

I was fortunate to be able to attend the last day of practice at this years Indy 500.

Quite a few cars were out on the track that day. They are loud!

And I can’t even get someone to pump my gas!

Walking in the pits was fun.

A lot of hardware to go fast.
